Niki Builds on Fashion Foundations

Fresh Foundations, Niki’s new lingerie and shapewear range, combines clean modern lines with a seductive edge.

The collection is sturdily fashioned from feather-light fabrics, formed for the urban woman who works and plays hard. Worn with dresses or jeans, smart or scruffy, these simply supportive staples are inspired by decades of fashion, the result is an instinctively modern clutch of sexy, structured pieces that keep you in great shape.

For Spring/Summer 2008, the core waist-cinching Bustier and Knicker duo are joined by new wardrobe miracles that won’t go out of style. Pour yourself into the Magic-Bum or Suspender Skirt and lift your bottom to the top floor. The chameleon-like Front-Cinch Bra can be worn with the centre-front loose and slouchy or tight to create a glamour-bust in sizes up to 36D, while the wearable Suspender-Belt is playfully suggestive.

“Each season we will orchestrate new shapes or colours that you can mix and match with previous ones,” says Niki McMorrough (Director, Made by Niki & Niki Lingerie). Each piece comes in 10 plain or lacy colour options including Ivory Tower, Black Jack, Lovely Lilac, Parma Violet and Tea Rose. Available at Barney’s NYC and selected stores worldwide.

‘Niki,’ which was voted one of the top 20 brands alongside major players such as Cacharel, Galliano and Diesel[1], has exploded surprisingly quickly into the global lingerie arena. Says Niki, “This is no ordinary brand. We offer our clients the whole package – rights-cleared imagery, a press kit, personal access to Niki and personalised tags.” For the more discerning customer, Niki also offers couture lingerie in Limited Editions of up to 50 numbered sets.
