Miss Singapore World resigns after buying lingerie with stolen credit cards
Trendy-Lingerie.com — Beauty queen Miss Singapore World has given up her crown after it emerged that she had stolen credit cards to go on a shopping spree for lingerie, Reuters reports.
Singapore newspaper The Straits Times says Ris Low claimed she did not feel she was doing anything wrong when she was ringing up those credit card bills during two months last year.
The model blames her shopping sprees on bipolar disorder, which she was diagnosed with after she told her lawyer about her thieving tendencies.
She told the newspaper that as far as she can remember she has had the urge to steal. Even as a young kid in school she stole Pokemon collectible cards that cost 20 cents each.
‘The sense of achievement is there, that you’ve done something and you got away with it.’
Low had earlier come under criticism for her poor English after she mispronounced “bikini” in a recent video. — Trendy-Lingerie.com
