Trendy-Lingerie.com — A woman in the city of Detroit was spared serious injury — or worse — when a bullet fired at her was deflected by the metal in her underwire bra.

The woman looked out of her window when she heard something outside.

Police say one of three intruders who were raiding the house next door fired a shot at her.

The bullet shattered the window, but bounced of the bra’s underwire.

Local police Sargeant Eren Stephens Bell told the Detroit News: “We need to get some bulletproof vests made from that. It is some strong wire.”

The bra’s make and model has not been reported. And no, it was not a bullet bra.
